About Scout
The journey continues!
Eight years into my own entrepreneurial journey, the development of the Scout for Success blog is a new personal milestone, a realization of just one of the many personal visions I’ve had percolating for some time now.
After more than twelve years working in administration for a Midwestern franchise of a global staffing company, I established a website design/Internet training/computer tutoring business in 2000. Since then, Scout Computer Resources has evolved and grown, encountering lots of challenges and even more learning experiences and opportunities. In June of 2008 I decided to rebrand as Scout for Business, still offering website design for small businesses, but with a broader emphasis on writing and marketing services overall.
Sharing resources with other entrepreneurs and small business owners
The journey of growing a business from scratch has been at turns fascinating, challenging, frustrating and exhilirating - but always an interesting adventure! By their nature, successful and rewarding journeys encompass an eclectic and varied scope of experiences, people, places and things. That’s why I created the Scout for Success blog, to document the journey and share insights gained along the way with other entrepreneurs and small business owners. You’ll find it populated with a broad range of essays, articles, ideas, reviews, products, resources, ephemera, discoveries, and more.
Reading is a passion, so there will be books galore! Writing is a passion, too, so subscribe to the feed if you like what you read! Your comments, input and ideas are invited and welcome.
Time to gas up the car, Maw - we’re hitting the road again!

I followed you here from your comment at Entrepreneur’s-Journey.
I like your site - I’m going to look around some more.
I’m just getting started myself - struggling a bit - glad also to have found Yaro.
Good luck!
